Subject: photo dictionary
I think it would be cool to have a photo dictionary for Kanji. It would be an online dictionary of course. Imagine having actual pictures of the words you look up. And there wouldn't have to be just one photo per word. There could be many.
I think a photograph of the actual word, taken from a sign, could leave a significant impression on the mind which would make it easier to recall than just the text you usually see in a dictionary.
If I were to start such a project, I would need lots of people to help contribute photos of Kanji words. I wonder if anybody would be interested in helping out.
