Subject: Remembering the Hanja
Now that there is the Heisig method for Chinese characters,
do you think he will ever publish a Remembering the Hanja:
A complete course on how not to forget the meaning and writing of Korean characters?

I bet a lot of Koreans would buy that.  :D

Speaking of Hanja, from what I've been told, each character has only 1 reading.
Is this 100% true?

In fact, last summer I contacted Dr Heisig to ask if he knew if anyone had used RK to remember the hanja. He pointed me to 'Remembering the 'Traditional Hanzi', which he said will not come out till around August 2008!

It's not true that each hanja has only one reading.

For example:

更 is read in two ways: 고칠 or 다시 . And 說 can be read in four ways:      말씀 , 달랠 , 기뻐할 , 벗을    (The pronunciations are in bold.)

I've lived in Korea for a long time and am told that I speak the language very well. I'm always studying hanja and am interested in literary Chinese, too. There are oceans of books for studying hanja, but almost all are aimed at the 漢字能力檢定試驗 .
