Subject: Remembering Hanzi
James W. Heisig & Timothy W. Richardson are publishing these two books:
Remembering Simplified Hanzi
Remembering Traditional Hanzi
So you can now use the famous Heisig method for learning Chinese characters. And you can choose which style you want to learn, simplified or traditional. Each course will come with 1500 characters in the first volume and 1500 in the second volume. But the first volume will include the 1000 most frequent characters. So if you get burnt-out half way through, it will still have been worth your while.
A pdf file containing the book introduction and first lessons can be found here.
We look forward to having some reviews of the Remembering the Hanzi books.
